Experience

Alejandra Aguirre (Victoria de Durango, Durango, 1988) is an architect who graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico de Durango. She has collaborated with firms such as BGP Arquitectura and Estudio MMX.

 

In 2013, she began her work in landscape architecture by joining Taller Entorno, where she worked for 10 years. She currently leads her own professional practice through the landscape architecture studio MIA and actively collaborates with Colectivo 9a. Her work is distinguished by a multidisciplinary approach, exploring and connecting architecture and landscape across various territorial scales.

Miranda Inman (London, 1993) is a landscape architect with a background in Fine Arts and Art History from the University of Leeds, and a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Urbanism from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Her interdisciplinary education shapes a design approach that merges cultural research, artistic sensitivity, and spatial strategy.

She has collaborated with leading practices in England, Spain, and Mexico, contributing to projects ranging from urban regeneration and public space to private landscape design. Her work has been recognized in international competitions, including Europan, highlighting her commitment to innovative and context-responsive design.

In 2025, she expanded her practice by co-founding MIA Landscape Architecture Studio alongside Alejandra Aguirre, marking a new chapter focused on collaborative, research-driven landscape and urban projects.

Our mission is to create resilient environments that are not only beautiful, but that also restore nature to a central role and actively contribute to addressing the climate crisis.

Our services include site analysis, conceptual and detailed design, planting design, and project management, with a strong emphasis on sustainable practices and ecological restoration. We specialize in crafting outdoor spaces that respond to local conditions, enhance biodiversity, and generate long-term value for both clients and communities.

From private gardens to public spaces and large-scale master plans, we deliver tailored solutions that integrate functionality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility.
